Zaken (Me. "Safe yonder") was one of the few lesser Maiar who served the Dark lord Sauron.He ,probably originally from the Folk of Mandos, was a spirit of darkness that had taken on human form.He served as Messenger of the elder Demon Kârarog in Gorgoroth.
