A Warrior-Demon
Warrior Demons or Gothrogath were the Soldier-class among Morgoth's demonic servants.Some had been his followers from the Beginning of Eä, others had originally hailed from the Folk of Manwe, Orome or Tulkas before they were lured into the Dark Lord's service.They differed from other Demons in a few significant ways. They all had an unusual preoccupation with weapons, rather than natural arms or magic. They were usually fairly manlike in appearance and did not usually know many deep or dark mysteries, functioning as the enforcement arm of their dark masters.
Gothrogath appeared in many different forms, among them Scout-Demons, Sword Demons, Spear Demons, Clubbers, Sentinels and also Shadow Demons.
