A Tergil Couple
Tergil (S."Terchil" Q."Tarkil") or Torfiriath were the descendants of Dúnedain who had intermarried with other peoples (usually middle-men).They were also known as Lesser Dúnedain.Most Gondorians and many Eriadorians and Umbareans would be considered Tergil.
The Black Númenóreans did not use the Sindarin or Quenya terms but called those "lesser Black Númenóreans" whose blood had mingled with lesser Men "Banadûnaim" (Ad. "Half-Númenóreans").The largest part of the Umbareans, Bellakarani, Anbalukkhôri and Zimrathânians were such Banadûnaim.
