Snagrat was a lesser Orc Captain of Isengard during the time of the War of the Ring. His job was to make sure that the many of Saruman's newly bred Uruk-Hai remained in line and were to be given specific orders. However, he greatly feared the size of the Uruks and tried not to agitate or threaten them too much, as he had witnessed one of his henchmen murdered by Uruks before.
