Rast Arnor

The cape in Cardolan, southwest of the ruins of Lond Daer was known as the Rast Arnor. Legend held that the

cape once marked the southern limit of Elendil ' s original Kingdom of the North , but the name of the cape was certainly of a much later origin , perhaps given by mariners of the South who sought landmarks near the rivers into the the center of that realm.
