The Forest of Lond-in-Telerrim (Lond Telerion)
Near the Falathrin haven of Lond-in-Telerrim (S. "Teleri Haven") lay a large wood (Taur-in-Telerrim). Persistent rumours of a small drake in the forest had never been verified. Some Elven loremasters surmised it was a lost member of the Dark Host which assailed the realm in the Second Age, only occasionally venturing from it slumbers. But it had shown considerable flightiness, and most sightings were of it carrying off lambs (the Elves here rose sheep). Searches had never availed its lair, however. The forest was also known to harbour faerie peoples.
