Kykykyl-bread was an enchanted ginger bread which tasted of garlic, carrots, and ginger and kept fresh for many weeks. Kykykyl allowed the user to see with complete clarity (as on a cloudless day) for one hour, or longer, regardless of weather, lighting conditions, or eye injuries (unless the eye was destroyed). Its active ingredient was kykykyl powder; kykykyl was a garlic relative originally native to temperate forests, later cultivated.
