Forweg (S? epithet: "North-man"?) was the brutal Captain of the "Gaurwaith", the band of fifty or so outlaws that Túrin joined when he fled Doriath and entered the woods south of Teiglin. An Adan of the Hadorians, he possessed a strong build, fair hair, and large, bright, shifty eyes. Túrin accidently slew him while coming to the aid of a woman that Forweg had tried to assault.
