Umbarean Raiders
The Umbareans were the inhabitants of the city and the realm of Umbar, in a closer sense those who were descendants of the original Black Númenóreans of Umbar, in a wider sense the Corsairs of Umbar and the Haradrim living inside the political borders of their realm.

At later times (after TA 1944), the Umbareans were a Haradrian Dynasty of Haruze descent. The descendants of the Castamiri had become a small minority of a few exalted families with dwindling power.They had by the time of the Kin-strife already widely intermarried with the remnants of the Black Númenóreans and by the late Third Age also had been forced to accept political marriages with near-Haradron nobility as well.
