Eredimar in the Vale of Imladorn

Often confused with Eruimar, the village of Eredimar

(S. "Mountain Home") was some fifty miles southwest of the Lonely Home. Nestled within the vale of Imladorn (S. 'The Wooded Vale"), Eredimar stood at the very foot of the Ered Luin (hence its name). Due to its isolation, Eredimar was no more than a small collection of houses with a population of less than 100 people. Nevertheless, it was noteworthy due to the wide variety of cultures contained therein. Hobbits, Dwarves, Elves, and Men had all made their homes within this village at one time or another. Additionally, the sulfur springs located in Eredimar's vicinity gave the hamlet renown as a place of healing. Three well-kept hostels awaited the travellers that passed through, for news of Eredimar's picturesque beauty and health benefits reached the ears of many.
