The East Bight (left center) (MERP)
The East Bight (Rh. Austrabuht) was a part of the Narrows, a name given by the Northmen to the narrow waist in the outline of Mirkwood Forest where the two edges drew close together. Passage between the East Bight and the West Bight was facilitated by the Rad Angálaladh, a Northman trail through the forest.
