Castaher was the son of Castamir the Ursurper. After his father's death he led his army and survived a brief siege in Pelargir after which they took the ships. Seizing most of the Gondorian fleet, they sailed down the Anduin and fled the South Kingdom. The rebel leader escaped and conquered Umbar in early T.A. 1448 and founded the Corsair state.
