    Mae Govannen, MERPdili !

As you can see I'm quite the new guy here on the Middle-Earth Roleplaying Wiki, but I've been reading and gathering intel about it for a long time already ! I do not know if this wiki is frequented by a lot of persons, but I hope I'll get the attention of some interesting people at least, for I come with a proposal !

I have had a project for many, many years now, of creating a mod for a video-game, that would be entirely focused on ICE's contribution to Middle-Earth, and that would let the player have a glimpse of the gigantic world that lies beyond the (already enormous) original works of Tolkien. Something that would show the player that Middle-Earth is not just about the Westlands and the Elendili, that the strug…

Hey Haerangil, I think I should eliminate Tulgas from aiding Moran's companions, clearly you found the Prince of Hathor Ferris, and the Senator/Nobleman Kratti. Wonir and Droggo should still be, and Boah Agonar as well, it could be possible that after Droggo and Boah adventured together, they went to the South and settled there. Boah Agonar could still be considered a son of Yavakamba and Featur I.

Now did you find Kratti and Ferris from a fan source or a ICE module? Please try to answer all the questions as best as you can. Also, are you and I the only two editors remaining? Moran half valar (talk) 17:21, March 18, 2015 (UTC)

Okay, so I have been thinking about game mastering an event that takes place in middle earth between the Third and Fourth Age. The Grey Council as I call it is a group of non-canon members with canon roots that seek to unite all the missing pieces for Dagor Dagorath, one such item is Gurthang. The group consists of 7 immortal members:

    • Moran (son of Morgoth/Ardana) - Now known as the Black Istari
    • Ravanna (Daughter of Tom/Goldberry) - Referred to as the Green Istari

And I need at least 5 more members that are immortal and have canon roots, but are considered non-canon. I would like them to be part elf of some type, part Maia (maybe like a son of Pallando or Alatar or something), or Faerie creature/Animal. I thought about putting Badger-Bolack b…

    Need help

February 23, 2015 by Moran half valar

Hey guys, I was recently writing out factions for the end times and I have all of them perfected. However, I need one last faction that can be split into good and evil. I initially had them being a modern army, but Morgoth's Dagor Dagorath happen after Eru cleanses the earth.

So with this stated, what is a canonical faction that exists either in this world or Tolkiens that would be good to go with the good and evil armies?

Also, I need a list of chosen warriors to stand against the Valar. I have currently:

Morgoth, Gilthrang, Sauron, Gothmog, Fankil, Langon, Ulbandi, Lungorthin, and I need six more canonical evil warriors. Is the something from the Nameless, Void, Pale, or Ungoliant's mates that I could choose from? I thought about adding a n…

Factions that are a must are:

Gondor (And all fiefdoms/Can switch to Arnor on certain maps)

    Rohan (Druadan Forest added)

    Eriador (Imladris/Lindon/Grey Company/Bree/Shire/Old Forest)

    Dwarfs (Erebor/Ered Luin/Iron Hills/Dale)

    Rhovanion Forests (Lothlorien/Fangorn/Mirkwood/Beornings/Woodsmen)

    Mordor (add Dol Gulder)

    Isengard (With Dunlendings)

    Misty Mountains (Gundabad/Goblin Gate/Moria/Grey Mountains)

    Men of the East (Rhun/Umli/etc.)

    Men of the South (Harad/Khand/Umbar/Haradwaith)

We know what makes up most of these factions from books, resources and notes--but what I propose is a faction list for the two remaining factions: Angmar's Remnants and Cult of the Blue.

Cult of the Blue: It would have mostly Easterlings dressed in blue, in addition to the cha…

Hey friends, ideas for the Second Age faction list. This is hardest of all given there is so much not written about it. But I will give the list, we can debate heroes later...

    Good:

Greenwood  (Combination of all Silvan Elves, Lorien and Mirkwood) Heroes: Galadriel, Celeborn, Galathil, Celebrian, Amdir, Amroth, Oropher, Thranduil.

Lindon (Combination of Lindon, Imladris, and remnants from Eregion) Heroes: Gil-Galad, Cirdan, Elrond, Glorfindel, Erestor, Galdor, Aranwe, Arminas

Khaza-Dum (Combination of Belegost, Nogrod, and Moria Dwarfs) Heroes: Durin III-V (these use same stats and name, they just go by Durin), Dwalin III-V, Uri III-V, Ralin, Narvi, Mardin III-V, Floi Stonehand, and one more hero...

Eriador (this is the Arnor/Gondor combination…

Hey guys, I really enjoyed the blog about creating factions for the Third Age, but what about for the First Age? Here is a list and thought you guys could help me. Since FA is very limited in details, I think there would be more fanon in this than the TA, with the most fanon being in the SA. SA is the longest age with the least written about it. So here you go, Factions for the FA:

    Good:

Valinor- (Air/earth/water/fire/light maiar, and vanya): Eonwe, Ingwe, Salmar, Ingwion, Curummo, Mornhitar, Olorin, Ilmare, Telimektar, Nieliqui

Noldor- Pick from three houses: Fingolfin, Feanor, Finarfin. Long list of heroes here. Each house has 10 heroes.

Fingolfins: Fingolfin, Turgon, Fingon, Ar-Aredhel, Gil-Galad, Thorondor, Glorfindel, Ecthelion, Voronwe, …

To all my pals at the Middle-Earth Roleplaying Wiki! I'm thinking of making some kind of game; I'm not sure if it's a roleplaying game, a table-top game, or a computer game yet: Probably the second one, but I'll work on it.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out the factions of it; I'm gunning for an even division of good and evil factions, and I'm hoping I got it right, but I'm not sure.  Wanna see what I got so far?

    Good factions:

    Elves:

Composed of High Elves and Silvan Elves, the Elves speak Sindarin and though not numerous, they have a high percentange of powerful soldiers and excellent range with their arrows.

    Men of the West:

A term for all Men who are under the King, this includes Gondor, the Grey Company, Bree, and even the Shire.  Their lang…

The newly launched Shadow of Mordor community is "official," which means you’ll be among the first to see new trailers, images and gameplay footage, as well as hear all the latest on the title as it develops. Perhaps more impressive, however, is the direct line you’ll have to the game’s creators. We’re talking exclusive Q&As, developer chats, and blogs up the yin-yang!
