Adûnazil was a Númenórean man who became the Lord of Forostar. He was the younger brother of Adûnahil, making him the uncle of Adûnabêth (The Seventh of the Nazgûl). Living in the North Cape of Númenor, Adûnazil was an old friend and ally to Er-Mûrazôr, in which he and his allies sought great wealth and planned to sever Westernesse's close ties with the Elves, in hope that the Edain could build along their own cultural line and expand their military and economic strength. He was responsible in the assassination of Adûnahil who refused to stand against the Elves.
